I was a happy fat coon (AKA Mr. Coon) and then one day I was just minding my own business and Whammo! a big rolling thing ran me over.

Then this humanoid found me and tried to give me mouth to mouth but it was to late for me.

Then these big ugly birds ate teared my body apart and ate me. I'm cool with it though, I'm dead and everybody's gotta eat. I would know.

They were spooky ass birds though.

And they fought over me.

Then, ripped me up some more.

And this is what's left of me after a days work.

Luxor was the best dog ever. Sweet to everyone, even babies, loved noise music, would howl when we would jam, he would snake the couch when we would get up, even for a moment, and his comical sweet expressions always made me smile. We always knew his legs would take him out, and he lived years longer than the vet said he would, but the end was sudden and heart breaking. He couldn't get up and his eyes were void of life and I had to hold his head up to drink and feed him by hand and we knew it was over. Shane and I will always remember him as our first dog we got together and the bright and comical dog he was. The best stoner couch dog. This is the hardest animal death I've had. Haven't felt like myself lately. I miss him.

An hour after I was supposed to be at work, I get a loud knock at the door. This is a very rare occurance and I really get paranoid when I hear someone at the door unexpectedly. But I thought it was my work because they know where I live and have just randomly picked me up at home when I didnt show up so I opened the door. It was two nice ladies who asked me if I thought the world was going to a bad place and I just said I didnt know. They said that alot of peeps didnt know and read me a passage in the bible. I listened and thanked them and since leroy was acting rabid at the window, they left. I am not a Christian but Im into spirtual signs and I think it was tellin me that I am doing the right thing by working that job no more and just focusing on my own projects. Plus i have sugar daddy shane. God loves me. hehehhehehhe.

I work at a greenhouse but probably not for long. work really sucks. And its not because the work blows, its because having a boss sucks ass. I dont get it, I work my ass off and he acts all nice and like he needs me, which he does, but then treats me like white trash by paying me shitty and not giving me a lunch break and working me like a dog. Everyone else gets a freakin break!!!- its really strange. I used to think he just forgot but now I just think he thinks Im a machine. I always get the shit work. I dont eat breakfast so im pretty bummed, tired and wet and covered in fertilizer after a days work. today kinda pushed me over the edge--everytime I turned around and was almost done with the previous 2 hour job, the fucker would give me another one and all the while, the christian freak girl who is a self confessed plant hater, walks around doing nothing. And she gets there an hour after me and gets a lunch break. I might not go tomorrow. I could die hearing more crap christian music and all the other shit they play. I dont care. This is taking all my time away from my garden and music, which is what I love and makes me happy and money. Yeah, I just decided that i quit, HAHHAHAAHAHHAA

We put Rocco down today. I didn't think it wasn't going to be so hard because I've known that this was coming for a long time but I'm kinda wrecked this morning. I've had Rocky for over half my life and although he was always getting into some kinda mischief and he loved to chase cats and eat trash there was no way to not love his beautiful, happy spirit. I partied with my friend kristin

and saw this crazy band Monotonix. We opened for them a couple years ago and they blew me away- for being all around sick dudes and killer jammers and ive never met any one from israel. I remember the first time I saw them play better than this time. I was a tad wastey-pooh for this one. But it was sick to just randomly see them again. They love the bread dogs.

I love my chickens. I love to zone out to my chickens running about the yard. I love their feathers and to look into their eyes, I feel like I am transported back to a primordial cosmic sphere. And with all this cosmic love--I eat their eggs and yes, I eat their meat. I never would have thought, until this year, that I could eat an animal I knew and cared for and raised from a day old chick, that had learned to trust me and that I had picked up hundreds of times, only to kill it. Me, a vegetarian for many years and life long animal obsessive, never would have thought that I would kill and eat one of my pets. But as I age, I think more and more about the sustainability of my farm and the pressures I put on the earth to sustain me. My chickens recycle the waste of my farm and help turn my clay soil into a moist, soft substrate for my vegetables to grow in and more often than not I end up with too many roosters and they peck each other to death or a hen that has eaten one too many of my heirloom tomatoes and that poor little one will find itself in the oven and if you have never had a free range chicken, you are really missing out. I think this year I will get some more just for eating. sorry patrick and all other animal peepz, I love em too but we all die and they had a chill life so its cool. This was my first murder:

Raspberry lemon muffins---yummm

I made these tonight:

These are yummy and healthy. Any fruit will do.
Heres how:
preheat oven to 400 and grease your pans
put half a cup of plain yogurt, 3 Tbs of veg oil, 1 TB of lemon juice, one egg or two egg whites in a bowl and mix. In another bowl, put 1 1/2 cups of flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 ts of baking powder, 1/4 ts of salt, 1 ts of lemon zest and mix. Add the wet to the dry and mix in 1 cup of raspberries (I used frozen). Put em in the pans and sprinkle some sugar on top, baby and bake for 15-17 min. You wont regret it. The pic doesn't do justice to how good they are and you can munch em down with out wanting to die after.

I love my little dog Rocco. I have had him since I was 14 and even though he was a bit nutty, I loved him to little pieces. A few years back he ran into the pasture and my insane horse Lula (a freaking giant) trampled him- on purpose and right in front of me. He got right up and got out of the pasture but soon fell down and with Luxor by his side, I ran home. When I called the vet I was in absolute terror screaming. I threw him in the car and drove fast- really fast- where he was treated for shock, collapsed lungs, and a hernia. It was truly amazing that this thirty pound dog survived, let alone with these few injuries, but he was permanently changed and sadly was never that lively and independent dog again. This past year he has developed nerve damage and can no longer walk. This was the worst thing I could imagine for the end of my babys life. And it makes me have to make a terrible decision to let him live and have to rely on me for everything or let him go peacefully. Its a raw deal and it is something I deal with everyday and I think one of these days I will let him go. But for now, I do everything I can for him and my brother Patrick (epiclylaterd.com) gave him a wheelchair. Thanks brozy! So the little guy has a little more time and so do I.
